I draw sad birds from time to time as part of an ongoing cyberpunk AU. Other than that I try to experiment a lot.

Getting the vibes on! It's been a whiiiiile since I've drawn these two hasn't it. I'm still working on my big project with 'em, I swear it's going somewhere I just don't have time to move fast ;;

Gilda and Rainbow Dash (MLP G4), younger and still hanging out together, in the early days of the Cyberpunk AU. They're wearing a hoodie and a track suit respectively, and are playing air guitar and singing using a remote (also respectively).

Picture is greyscale with a soft blue background, and the characters are marked with a white outline.

"Temple run"! Easily one of the most overexecuted silly ideas I've had in a while, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see more of this.

The Lamb (from Cult of the Lamb), wearing a Rogue Squadron pilot uniform and piloting a X-Wing in the middle of the Trench Run from Star Wars Episode IV. Swapping in for R2-D2, the Red Crown looks behind them in alarm as a couple of fighters shaped like the symbols of the old faith close in, followed by a worm-like ship bearing another crown. In the upper left corner, the One Who Waits grips at the bounds of his vignette and shouts at the Lamb 'Use your curses, Lamb!" while his two guardians look on from the background befuddled.

The picture uses reds, blacks and whites, in limited hues, to keep to the theme of COTL, while the aesthetic borrows more heavily from Star Wars.

"Wanna race? First to the spaceport!" --- Wanted to play with a limited palette and detailed lines again! Broke out the Ace Combat OST for that one.

View from inside the cockpit of a spaceship. A sheep sits strapped in, in the middle of maneuvering with her hands, and talks into her microphone. In the background, we can see part of a planet and another spaceship in the distance. Various tools, buttons, and miscellaneous items clutter the space around her. The ships and the sheep are orange-hued, while the planet and space around them are turquoise.

There's Gig again! Let out of my 'box of characters whose design I like enough but not enough to keep drawing' for a brief time. Further work on postures.

Gig, my adventurer mouse [wearing a complex set of clothes which includes a transparent mask, a metal head cover, a black raincoat and a full combination to protect his body], taking a leap of faith and trying to jump for a hook over a glowing pit! He's not looking too pleased about it.

I really wanted something with an opposition between vertical and horizontal lines, and the opposition between colorful sunset and drab parking lot was a neat addition to it. Warmth and the hope of better days, or maybe wistfulness from good memories.

Julia, my gerbil, looking up at the skies. She is sitting at the foot of a lamp post in what seems to be an endless parking lot, arms on her knees, tail sprawling out. Behind her, the sunset colors the horizon in incandescent orange hues, pitting the vertical lines of the ground and the posts against the horizon.

Been a little bit, both for posting and for these two! It's been fun to draw them again and observe how my style has changed over the years.

The messenger and his guide engaged in a lively discussion during a break on the road -- or at least lively storytelling from the guide. At the center lies a flattened candy wrapper containing food for the road, and next to it is a little fire above which a repurposed coffee pod has been perched.

This one was a bit of a struggle to get to a point I was satisfied with, but here we are! A little bit of hope is always important, especially lately.

My gerbil character, Julia, holding onto a paint roller and looking confidently at the viewer. She is dark gray on a blueish black background, and wearing an unzipped hoodie, jeans and a beanie which reaches down the side of her head. Behind her, a trail of white paint forms a circle around her, and breaks off into specks which look like stars. Above it, in white text, the words: "In the dark, we will make our own light".

"Sire please, must you really stop and strike a pose every five minutes..!" -- A silly little idea that took a longer while to complete than I would have wanted. Look at this dashing knight though! I'm sure he'll help his loyal servant eventually.

A griffon knight stands proudly, hand on the pommel of his sword and in full attire, while behind him his bunny servant struggles to deal with the sheer amount of supplies he's carrying around and pleads for him to keep moving please, thank you very much! A silly duo, really.

Ow my arm. I want to draw, what the heck >:c (Nothing too bad, just overexerted myself and need to have a few days of rest before I can complete the stuff I was working on. Still, grr.)

A silly rat, not anthro and wearing small glasses and a pullover, being mad that he can't grab his tablet pen to doodle because his arm hurts (grr).

"A glimmer of hope can be found even in the most baleful expanses. With some effort, even the trembling hands which hold it may nurture it to health..." --- Cyberpunk-Scifi-ish stuff there! I wanted an odd structure and circular patterns and the idea of an inverted skyline to wade through was fun.

A rodent in protective gear kneels by stagnant water. In their hands, they hold an unseen object which projects a bright turquoise light, and they seem transfixed by it. Behind them, a gray expanse stretches on, full of waste and dotted by lights, until it reaches a vast, outstretched structure of upside-down buildings arranged into a sphere. The wastes and the sphere are connected by a series of uneven pillars which seem to be holding it in the air.
