Someone said to me, "I'm sorry but I got your book from a library." Nobody should ever apologise for that. You read my book! That's brilliant! I grew up hanging out in libraries and the idea of a world without them fills me with dread. Without libraries, authors, like readers, will only suffer.

I ordered two copies. As an Only Child, this will be the hardest chapter of my life. My parents are well aware I want to be prepared. Folks should never feel afraid to talk to their family about end of life plans. I feel it should be normalized way more.

My grandma died last Wednesday. My aunts and uncles chose today to bury her when I begged to have more time to get there. Nothing could connect me to ND yesterday, so I went home after 4 hours at the airport. They’re burying her now. I’m at home making a chicken wrap. My village failed me.

I just popped on Twitter an hour ago and I’m in disbelief how my timeline is actually showing, writers, agents, INDUSTRY PEOPLE after a damn year of poking on to irrelevant shit and soft porn. Like, I’m actually willing to go back in a bit. I have no clue what happened, but I hope it stays that way
