Anyone else thinking this is the real start of our season now. No massive injury issues and the playing squad settled and had time together. Feels like the beginning and I expect to see us really start to play now.
For the integrity of the Premier League, and even the country it seems, it’s vitally important that City get a proper punishment.
What I’d do with City. Stripped of all titles. Enough points to relegate them this or next season. Whenever appeal is complete. Can only spend what they recoup in transfer fees for 9 seasons.
Could this seriously affect the levels of sponsorship Man City can get going forward. Their reputation is in tatters so they can’t claim sponsoring them is an attractive deal for companies and if a closely tied one was sponsor surely that would way over current market value.
We’re a Bogarde injury away from having our strongest squad available!
Man City when asked to provide their “irrefutable evidence.”
Fair play to Man City’s owners. They said they had irrefutable evidence in their defence, they just never said it was only for one of the charges.

Donald Trump has released a statement after official release of Man City’s guilty verdict. It was fantastic. Working with Britain, it was an amazing job. We had them under investigation. They, they were looking to do big damage to the Premier League, and working with the British worked out great.
They should be forced to appoint Jim Ratcliffe as their new owner.
£830m advantage over clubs staying within the rules. Something drastic has to happen to that or why would any club bother staying within them?
Poor woman who has gone from a national hero saving people’s lives to stopping the theft of some diesel.
Could we have a situation were other clubs sue the Premier League also if the punishment isn’t harsh enough? Surely there’s a legitimate argument in terms of stripping titles and money lost given the scale of rule breaking.
🚨 Mauricio Pochettino on Man City charges: “No type of punishment will make it possible to repair what was done”. “If they are guilty, Premier League's controls are severely damaged”.
Brian Madjo and Leon Goretzka are both travelling with Aston Villa for their mid-season training camp. After playing Southampton behind closed doors last week, Villa will face Sevilla on Friday. #AVFC
While we’re in the spirit of stripping titles, can we also make Peter Ebdon World Snooker 2006 champion.
Let’s hope Man City charges can reverse that poor play by Guehi too.

The lawsuits against Man City could be absolutely astronomical in comparison to Everton having to pay just one team for just one season. Their owners might be financing the rest of the Premier League for a good while! Then would that compensation count towards PSR/SCR? My guess is not.
Congratulations to Alejandro Garnacho, winner of this year’s Ballon (behind closed) d'Or.
When you tell your kids that the guy on the left is now a bigger Villa legend than the guy on the right…
Great to see an end to Man City’s tribunal. Unfortunately I will be dead before the appeal has finished so please let my kids know the outcome. Thank you.
