I tried to move over to eurosky and have hit a brick wall. It says my e-mail address is already in use (I tried to set up an account but it crashed). I'm now locked out. I e-mailed their 'tech support' twice in the past 3 days but have heard nothing. Not even a confirmation of receipt. I give up!
Reform party Sheffield falling apart smidst confusion over exactly who called whom a "Fat Bastard".
@mrjamesob.bsky.social If he was telling the truth, imo, he wouldn't have joined the most right wing tory Party in a generation. He'd have joined Labour, or the Greens. Wouldn't he?
@shelaghfogarty.bsky.social This guy has been so 'deradicalised' that he wants to send for office, in arguably the most right wing conservative party in a generation. Had he made a public statement and was standing for the Greens I might entertain it. Im sorry, but I dont buy it. Not for a minute.
I hear on the wireless that PC Bad Enoch has been in the dressing up box.
Just in case you were wondering how Project 2025 (which Trump denied is a thing) is going, you can find a tracker here. Whilst he's distracting you with oil wars, the domestic agenda is going swimmingly. www.project2025.observer/en

Microsoft: $101 BILLION in profits. $12.5 BILLION in tax breaks. $176 BILLION in stock buybacks. 4,800 workers fired this week. 9,000 workers fired last year. Please don't tell me trickle-down economics works. It never did. Nothing trickles down.
@tomswarbrick.bsky.social Re, Burnham having a holiday. Have you mentioned the fact that Parliament is in recess?
@simonmarksfsn.bsky.social We're is SW France. It was 40c last week. It dropped to 35c over the weekend. 30c this morning. It rained nicely this evening and it dropped to 21c. Phew. At last!
It rained, for two whole hours. Not very heavy rain, but heavy enough to lower the outside temperature by 9⁰c to 21c, which is fantastic. We have all the windows and doors open. Hopefully it will have dampened some fires, but I dont know about that.

Fromage has upset someone very powerful, and now they're after him. Who and How? I'm only asking questions.

No idea what keeps compelling me to make spicy food on hot days, but this is the second time this year!
I have a question. Chris Philp... Why?
@mrjamesob.bsky.social Please stop talking about cheese. I absolutely love cheese, but Cheese * really* doesn't love me. I can't eat cheese. My last meal, before I face the firing squad, will be Macaroni cheese.

I dont really care about kickyball, but even I'm Incensed by FIFA trying to do this. Mainly for me because they're just money grabbing bastards. True ball-kick supporters will be incensed because they're screwing over the beautiful game, for money. If UEFA play this ball right... (geddit)...
Is it considered a balanced diet if you eat salted peanuts on both sides of your mouth? Asking for a friend.
Reform MPs are complaining that Fromage wasn't invited into Burnhams circle to talk about health care reforms. Hasn't he told them yet that he resigned a couple of weeks ago?
