Today went to a used book sale at Brevard College, Brevard NC, between appointments and things-to-do. All pushed back or ahead when I saw the sign. Filled a $5.00 box, equals $0.50 a book.

Fitness” is not an “activity” occurring necessarily in a gym but a life balance including pushing and carrying and lifting heavy things, sometimes dumbbells or more often, walking. Reading and more: mind, body and spirit. Life’ steadiness.
RE: A usable analogy for much. Kudzu spreads quickly kills and strangles the host. And once set, not enough to trim or even cut to stump. The root structure must be dug out. In many parts of the South that I know, it’s an ugly sight as it clings and destroys trees.

Yesterday, Friday 24 April, walking from PATCO’s Franklin Square Station to Drexel University in West Philly, infront of Independence Hall, saw a block of granite with the First Amendment engraved and stopped and pondered.
