This is BlueSky JP, not that other place. Please don’t resort to personal abuse in an attempt to further your argument. Thing is, my comment doesn’t relate to the guilt or innocence of the defendant, but to the conduct of the professionals, advancing their case in the wrong way.
I raise you Guildford 4 and Birmingham 6. You clearly have myopic vision.
Somewhat saddened by the hysterical (self) publicising of some lawyers & medics in the #Letby case. There is a responsible, professional and ethical way to ventilate genuine concerns without ranting and shrieking in the media. Please think of the victims and their families.

Released closer in time to the end of World War II than to today!! Anyone else feel extremely old? !
Studied it perhaps Drew, but I confess to significant unease when lawyers or police officers in such cases get involved. In my opinion professional proximity to such cases ought never to be exploited for (perceived) personal advantage/publicity. A victim/clients privacy ought to be sacrosanct
Just a thought: if you are making a documentary about a famous crime story why not involve people who’ve studied the case in question?
If any new BlueSky eXiles would like to connect with (mainly) UK based criminal lawyers, please free to use this Starter Pack. Please RP/RT go.bsky.app/AFdD66T

Just a bit of advice for young lawyers: Be cautious celebrating your victories. If the credit for ‘winning’ a case is yours, then so must be the blame when you ‘lose’.
Today have a floating committal for sentence! I didn’t know that a CSE could be a floater. My defendant has been on remand and served the sentence he can be given already. I’ve been informed that this matter is not a priority today. A prison places frees up if I get called on. #CJSonitsknees
Please join @publicsectorlawyer.bsky.social and many other UK based criminal lawyers by following those in the starter Pack below and help bring the legal community together. Please RP/RT go.bsky.app/AFdD66T

Routinely imprisoning innocent people without trial for 4 or 5 years is like something that I read about in history from the former Eastern Bloc or elsewhere in the 60’s. This must be sorted. www.theguardian.com/law/2024/dec...

In law, what plea so tainted and corrupt But, being season’d with a gracious voice, Obscures the show of evil?
Nobody should ever plead guilty unless they're actually guilty and even if they think they're guilty they still shouldn't plead guilty until they've had advice from a lawyer to make sure they are actually guilty and understand the consequences of a guilty plea www.theguardian.com/law/2024/dec...
