The girl pondered about his words for a while. Some seconds later, she let out a giggle – meaning she thought of an answer. "I think ... Mr. Yang is more fit of a mentor, right? Or maybe ... a father figure of some sorts, I suppose?"

Trying to ignore the very obvious tears that ran down her face seconds ago, she looked at him with a smile. He really wanted to cheer up, and she didn't want to disappoint him. "March sounds ... pretty cute, I think."

"Okayyy! Let's go to my bedroom then!" — she said happily, taking his hand. He knew the way, of course, but the girl wanted to lead the way anyways. Soon after, they entered the room – March went first, and Dan Heng followed.

⠀ Surprise overtook him as he was suddenly hugged, nearly losing his balance from the impact—he hadn’t expected it. As she stepped back, he simply nodded at her instructions. Returning to his room, he grabbed only the essentials: his pillow, duvet, and pajamas. (↓) ⠀

The girl took a deep breath. She knew that telling the older one about the amnesia would only make him even more worried, and she really didn't want to ruin the happy moment, but ... at the same time, there was no way she could lie about it and pretend to be fine.

Every single day since she woke up, she'd try to say something back to him, to no avail. But after a few days, she managed to make some sounds that improved their communication. And that was her situation for a while, until the present day.

His answer got the girl beaming with excitement. She smiled from ear to ear, and hugged him as tight as she could. "Yaaay!!!! I knew it!! You're the best, Dan Heng!!!"

Out of the three voices she could identify back in the day she was found, one of them stood out as the most mature. She could suppose it belonged to an older man. He was always saying wise things and was pretty straightforward, but at the same time, his words carried genuine concern for her.

She knew him all too well. If she said it could wait, he'd just isolate himself in his room again, drowning in files and worries, and they'd never be able to have their sleepover. Deep down she felt bad for pushing the idea onto him like that, but getting her friend to relax was important for her.

⠀ As naive as she is, March has a knack for noticing when someone is down. It's a good trait, but sometimes it can be a bit much. She always goes out of her way to help, wanting nothing more than to make her friends smile. (↓) ⠀

No one knew how the girl ended up frozen and out in the space like that, nor how long she had been there. Not to mention, it wasn't any kind of ice – it was six-phased ice, something totally unusual. In short, the whole situation was shrouded in mystery.

Unfortunately for Dan Heng, the grumpy expression didn't discourage the girl at all – in fact, it just gave her even more motivation to convince him to have some fun.
