A milestone moment for Ellison Institute of Technology Oxford — and a huge credit to our incredible team. Today we celebrated topping out on our EIT Oxford campus at Littlemore House, reaching the highest point of construction and marking a major step forward in this journey.

I really enjoyed meeting John-Arne Røttingen, Chief Executive Officer of the Wellcome Trust. I continue to be impressed by Wellcome’s extraordinary contribution to advancing medicine in the UK and globally.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Kirsty Duncan, former Minister of Science of Canada. I had the privilege of working with her closely on research funding and the Fundamental Science Review, and of welcoming her to UBC in 2017 and 2019. We have lost a truly wonderful public servant.
