Great day with my family on Friday graduating as a Doctor of Sport & Exercise Psychology. Getting here took longer than planned and I had frequently questioned whether it was worth it! Glad I pushed through. The graduation ceremony was a nice way to celebrate this chapter coming to a close.

The most enjoyable piece of work from my ProfDoc has made it to print! I think this is the first piece of sport psychology research exploring stress in women's cycling - it is definitely the first to use an ethnodrama! Thanks to Amy, Hayley & Angela for efforts to sort. doi.org/10.1016/j.ps...

Pleased to say that I passed my viva, and able to call myself Dr Vaughan! I have so many people to thank for helping me to get here. My supervisors Amy & Hayley, everyone at LJMU and my better half Kathryn. You’re never too old to do new stuff!

Great to have been part of the team exploring the use of think aloud within applied sport and exercise psychology practice. Don’t think many of the authors have made it onto Bluesky yet, but you can see who they are! doi.org/10.1123/tsp.... #sport&expsy #sportpsychology

Great couple of days at #DSEP2024 in Belfast. Excellent keynotes, delegate presentations (including mine🤣) and plenty of networking! Much to digest and reflect on. Thank you to everyone involved. Looking forward to next year already….

Looking forward to presenting my cycling research @bps-dsep.bsky.social next week. Anyone else got an alien in their slide deck?! #DSEP2024
