Finally set up my index again for VR. Immediatly decided to blast my arms into oblivion with 2 hours of Beat Saber. Im exhausted but it was a good workout.

Its done! I was so worried when these door cards came in cracked, but we got everything fixed and in the car! Full blue interior!
I am 2 panels away from just getting to enjoy this car. Its been SO much work, but its been an amazing journey and she's completely different from what she was when I got her in January. I can not wait to share this thing with friends and enjoy some curvy roads.
So, work had me up until 230a and I cant stop thinking how to fix this interior for the gto. Really hoping it comes together somehow because its really wearing on me while im already tired. First world issue, I know, but hard not to be down about it today.
A little bummed to have had some stuff for the car damaged in transit that isnt easily replaceable. Used some epoxy to try and salvage a door card but had to move on. Making progress makes me less bummed but its not the night I had envisioned.
Im glad I have two partners who help me out. Its days like today when simple things feel like big deals and I cant solve them because I cant leave work. Its frustrating.
"Theres been an update to your package delivery!" Me, thinking the only option is they lost the parts to finish the GTO. "Delivery will be 2 days earlier now."
The ADHD wanting to finish a project that I dont have the stuff to finish is killing me. Its hard to look back at all the work thats been done and enjoy it without the burning desire to keep pushing ahead. I guess thats why they call it a passion project.
Interior is out, prepped to be swapped. Just waiting on it to arrive and the new sound system before it goes back together.
Door cards out, 6.5s in... also installed new tweeters (not pictured). Waiting for 4 more speakers and the blue interior to arrive before it goes back together.
So im just stumbling on this post from like 15 years ago. Someone swapped the blue interior into a black GTO. Ive got a full blue interior coming for mine but now seeing end results im stoked.
Without saying your age, what’s your favorite movie that came out when you were 18? This one was hard. Not a ton of movies I really cared about this particular year.

Few things really capture my attention for long. But something about these cars keeps me hooked all the time. Very few cars in my past have been 'me' like GTOs are. So excited to show the things I have coming. Its a completely different car then when I bought it. Crazy proud of this one.

Finally have the bike back home and she's been sitting in the shed since. I love riding but boy and I still good on bikes for now. Time to focus on the GTO a bit more for the fall season.

Last day. What an amazing adventure. Another 6137 miles (10,527.7 total), visited amazing places, met amazing people and battled through weather from 36F all the way to 96F including snow. Was it a perfect trip? No. But incredible experience with my partners and memories we wont forget. ❤️
