reading a very good murder mystery. the last novel i picked up was sorely disappointing and i struggled to get through to the end. it's nice having something to chew through again.

if i make kai brother stickers, would it be better to stay closer to their simplified anime designs, or try to make them look more like real kai, with "realistic" brindle like i gave gin? i think i would lean toward more realistic bc the stylized stripes look a bit silly but idk. thinking out loud.

getting a handle on the more simple cartoony style again has been fun. someone was kind enough to buy a batch of them at a discount so i could practice. <3 much quicker than my normal style so it's a nice relaxing break.

i'm so proud of my doggie. he played so gently with a pair of shih tzu puppies outside the groomer's today. he's 125 lbs and they couldn't have been more than 5 a piece. i've never had a dog that's so careful and aware of his own strength before. special boy.
