💸🔎 Who has to play by the rules – and who has the means to circumvent them? Very excited about our new “Hide and Seek” project @jungeakademie.bsky.social bringing offshore finance, inequality, debt and tax avoidance into conversation with art. Stay tuned for more 🎥
🏠♀️Why do we need feminist housing policy? Last week at the BAG W women’s conference in Leipzig, I talked about gender, housing insecurity, debt & eviction – and why housing loss starts long before someone loses their home. Thanks for the inspiring conversations! 💜

So delighted to see this piece out in @areajournal.bsky.social — a journal I value enormously for its sharp, thoughtful and boundary-pushing work in geography. The article grows out of my research on eviction hearings and explores how legality is lived, felt and negotiated in court. ⤵️ #geosky
New in Area: 'Fleshing out law: Embodied encounters and the material geographies of legal space' by @sklosterkamp.bsky.social This paper draws on ethnographic fieldwork in German district courts to explore how legality is produced through embodied encounters in courtrooms. doi.org/10.1111/area...
