I’m at a point in my life where im starting to be okay with people leaving my life. I try to believe that I’m a great person so that when people leave or don’t wanna talk to me anymore it’s their loss and not mine. Self love is something I’ve been working on and I think I’m finally changing.

Kip : "...it makes even the littlest things special.
It sounds silly out loud..."

Kip : "But, um, I just really wanted to let you know. I, um, really value the time we spend together..."
Mason (thinking) : "How do you turn someone down like this?
I guess... knowing kip, I should ease them out of this.
I can start by making some more distance between us. Pull back on some of the teasing and flirting.
I don't think they'd take it well if I just dropped this all at once on them."
Kip : "It's strange, you know? Thinking back.
I know it sounds silly, but I just...
I really wanted you to know..."
Panel 3 : While talking, Kip slowly reaches out to hold Mason's arm.
Mason (thinking) : "Was it always this complicated?"
Kip : "Um, I guess what I'm trying to say is"
Panel 4: Kip grabs Mason's arm. Mason tenses up immediately, bringing their thoughts and Kip's speech to an end.
Mason (thinking) : "Maybe I never should've-"
Kip : "I hope this is as special to you as-"
Panel 5 : Mason brutally flinches and pulls away.
Mason : "!?"
Kip : "AH"

Mason (thinking) : "What am I doing? They looked so sad when I pulled away, I just grabbed their hand without thinking."

Mason (thinking) : "Maybe... Maybe they're not ready to hear this yet?"
