Seriously, screw the Dodgers. I hope they hit a slump and miss the playoffs. For the next 2 decades.

The @mlb.com is trying to speed up the game, meanwhile the all star game is taking a 4th inning, 5th inning, 6th inning AND a 7th inning stretch.
This is ridiculous. The "small government" people have us living in a nanny state.
My dad gave me his bass boat in the fall. Today, I took it out on the water for the first time by myself. I've been fishing in this boat with him countless times over the last 25 years. I'm looking forward to him coming back in October so we can go again.
I wonder if the @cubsbot.bsky.social are missing Schwarber and Contreras?
I don't know which sport has more complaining to the refs and flops to try to draw a foul... basketball or soccer. Thoughts?
Once again, Knicks weren't necessarily better, Spurs beat themselves down the stretch. Missed free throws, Fox shooting 3/15 and being left in the game, missing shots in the paint, and leaving Barnes on the bench yet again. Harper picked up the slack for everyone else tonight but it wasn't enough.
Seriously embarrassing how many Knicks fans are at this game tonight.
This was not about the Knicks being a better team tonight. The Spurs beat themselves by settling for 3 point shots they weren't hitting instead of keeping their foot on the gas, and going for points in the paint. I've watched them do this all season. They get a comfortable lead, then get lazy.
Taking a break for sportsball posting for a minute to share this busy bee on a wildflower in my little wildflower patch.

Knicks fans, mad disrespectful, shouting during the national anthem. In Military City USA we respect the flag.
34-48 last year, 62-20 this year, and heading to the NBA Finals!
My proposed fixes for the @nba.com replay system 1) 30 second time limit. If there isn't sufficient evidence to reverse a call in 30 seconds, the play stands. This also alleviate a having to call a timeout to challenge. 2) If you win your challenge, you keep getting to challenge.
Amidst all the political talk, here are some wildflowers and buzzy things in my yard this morning.
I think @mlb.com needs to clarify whether netting is in play or not. Ohtani's inside the park HR clearly hit the outfield netting & bounced back onto the field. If it hits netting on the fly and is caught in the field, it's not an out. Netting is either in play or not. Can't have it both ways.
I'm shouting into the wind bc the people who need 2 know this are on twitter, but this: www.nytimes.com/athletic/726... Combined w playoffs or games on "exclusive partners" u can't watch on the league's official streaming platform (that u pay4) needs 2 b fixed. NBA & MLB are the worst offenders.
My left-handed rebellion. Whenever I go to a buffet, I always leave the spoons tipped to the left so the next right handed person that comes along can know my pain.
Podcasts should be audio only. Or at least provide an audio only version. Fight me. And get off my lawn.
As baseball season is getting underway and the WBC is in full swing, just wanted to reiterate this.
MLB needs to ban the in-game interview.
I'm going to be so happy once Wednesday arrives and the stupid political ads are over (at least for a few months). Just hoping there's no runoffs.
If you pay for a pro sports service (NBA League Pass, MLB TV, etc) and they sell the rights for a particular game or games to another streaming service, those games should still be included in your viewing package. I should not have to buy another service to watch games I've already paid to watch.
Remember when the Olympics were on all of the available NBC channels that you already paid for as part of your TV subscription and you didn't have to buy an entire extra service to watch anything? I remember. Screw Peacock. And screw you NBC for putting hockey on it.
Links within Teams should open with your default browser, not Edge. Fight me.
