I had already been planning on writing about POSSESSION for its 45th anniversary but the loss of Sam Neill changed my approach greatly. What I ❤️ about this film is that no 2 viewings are the same so I wrote about that here & so much more: from-the-desk-of-the-horror-chick.ghost.io/45-years-lat...

This Thursday we’re wrapping up our Lens Horror month with a discussion on the 1954 film, REAR WINDOW.
Let us not pretend that we haven't all been waiting for Josh Hartnett to do a full series costumed like he was in that one Sweater Porn episode of Penny Dreadful
TEASER TRAILER - Netflix's sea creature series BELOW premieres October 8. Josh Hartnett, Charlie Heaton, Mackenzie Davis & Rohan Campbell star. A fisherman fights to protect his family & his community when a mysterious sea creature terrorizes a remote Newfoundland town.
I’ve grown to enjoy this movie. It’s not without its flaws, though.
Today on the podcast we’re covering the 2007 film DISTURBIA. We discuss the film being a gateway into deeper horror themes, the lackluster writing and why technology should have stopped in 2007. Listen now! ⬇️ allmylinks.com/slash-her-pod
surveillance propaganda, web sleuth romanticism, and completely ignoring the grief aspect for a romance oh my!

Very solid discussion and I’m looking forward to seeing what Cottontail has to offer.

This month at Slash Her the theme is LENS HORROR. A month dedicated to cameras, drones and utter chaos! 📸 What are some of your favorite lens horror movies?
Jeepers Creepers was the first movie we EVER covered for @slashherpod.bsky.social. Once I became aware of the actions of the films director the episode was removed and will NEVER see the light of day again. It’s not hard to not cover it. People like to jump through hoops to justify their actions.
NO. There is no reason to support Jeepers Creepers in 2026. There are thousands of horror films to cover that don’t involve a rapist and pedophile.
