Toy collector rant: We all hit a point where we have to make room and sell some old stuff, which proves to be far more difficult than one might think. You can try selling to local collectors or local online groups, but that's a very slow process and they sometimes want crazy deals. Sites like ebay..

Everyone: Starbucks is too expensive. That's mostly why we aren't going there anymore. CEO of Starbucks: People will come back if we add more ways to tip our baristas and cashiers and make in-store people wait while we make drinks for the people that order online!

Man, actors and comedians LOVE the phrase "cancel culture." They can write off any amount of honest criticism as some conspiracy to take them down. They even love throwing the term around while performing in a million dollar+ venue.

So what do we think- will Nintendo celebrate the 10th anniversary of Mario Odyssey by releasing the first new 3d Mario game in... well, 10 years? Or are they going to rely on Kirby to fill that void for next year?

Been months since I played Crimons Desert but I started it up out of curiosity since it's had so many patches. They reset all my skills and want me to respec. Otherwise seems the same. And I thought they also said DLC would be free, but there's a $23 expansion coming out now? I uninstalled it.

Parenting tip: If your kid is into something you don't like or is driving you crazy, buy them a bunch of merchandise for it. Once they know you spent a lot of money on it, they'll quit it like cold turkey.

Parenting tip: Ever see a show or movie where a parent calmly tells an upset or angry kid something and the kid listens and calms down? Well, every Michael Bay Transformers movie is more realistic than that.

Schools really love arranging special before or after school events and meetings that at least one parent has to go to and kids can't attend and offer no option for your kid. Kind of like they forgot that you're going to these things because of having a child.

Small spoiler for High on Life 2: A boss shrinks down, gets in your suit computer and you chase him through your actual game menus, beat him up with a slider, then play some Bible Adventures, then a Donkey Kong like level where you stab your own face. That's some beyond Kojima level stuff.

I might be old fashioned but I like saving on my own in a game, and in multiple files. But studios nowadays HATE giving you that control. So I ask that you AT LEAST let me know when and where the last checkpoint I'm saved at before I quit so I know for sure what to expect when I return.

Even if we lived in the imaginary world where people were paid off 5k for voting one way, I'm totally sure corporations who know every adult just got 5k would NEVER raise their prices, making inflation even worse.

Gotta explain this every year- shit costs a lot of money, and a lot of holiday crafts take time. So when you see Christmas stuff on shelves a couple months early, it lets people spread the holiday costs and get started on the decorating and holiday crafts. A few months is really not long for adults.

The problem with being in your 40s and having a young kid starting a new year of school is that when they inevitably get sick from other kid germs, you don't know if you're coming down with something OR it's just the normal exhaustion and pain of being in your 40s and having a young kid.
