This one turned 28 recently so we are celebrating by spinning the 25th Anniversary pressing. An absolute classic.

Music (mostly vinyl, sometimes CDs) beer (usually craft) and some incoherent ramblings on sports. Let’s party…but only until about 10:30. SoCal based.
The slightest hint of precipitation in Southern California and I am reaching for a Smiths record. Hatful of Hollow this time around.
Recent pick up of Talking Heads 77 means I now have the first four TH albums on vinyl. All essential in my opinion.
This is very good news for all 10 of us remaining Angels fans
LA Rams owner Kroenke reaches agreement to buy Angels
Kroenke Sports & Entertainment ("KSE") today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a controlling interest in the Los Angeles Angels Baseball Club from the Moreno family....

I gave the “Albini Sessions” a pretty thorough listen and I definitely prefer the version they ultimately released. Pretty cool artifact though. Fugazi > In On the Kill Taker
Needed something to jumpstart my Tuesday. This one is doing the trick.
It is far too hot in Southern California today to do anything other than sit inside in the AC drinking beer and spinning records.
After picking up this 2015 RSD release of the debut, I now have all the Clash studio records on vinyl (Cut the Crap is not a Clash album). This is a pretty good sounding pressing to boot.
Some dark, mellow tunes from Mr. Cohen to start the day.
Checked a big one off the want list! Stoked to add an ‘83 original of this jangle pop classic to my collection. The Rain Parade > Emergency Third Rail Power Trip
New arrival! It’s a late 70s/early 80s reissue but it’s clean and sounds great!
A beer and this Nick Lowe record after a looong, hot weekend of youth soccer. Spectating is hard work.
Spinning the first Love record. This is an ‘81 reissue from Greece. Nice sounding pressing.
Been awhile since I’ve listened to this amazing collection of songs. Buzzcocks > Singles Going Steady
The Roxy Music Marathon continues with Stranded. 1974 US pressing.
Might just spin a few Roxy Music records in a row, starting with this one.
Some Saturday Spins with this ‘98 pressing of Odessey & Oracle. This version of the album art is my favorite.
Some Flaming Lips on a Tuesday morning. The Soft Bulletin Vinyl Me Please pressing.
The weekend is slowly slipping away but I’m not going down without a fight.
Nothing like it before or since. Except, of course, other Fugazi releases.
Picked this one up a few months ago and it has been in constant rotation. Still on the lookout for an original. Looking forward to seeing them live in September!
This 2026 version of Sierra Nevada Summerfest Lager has been a go-to all summer long. Enjoying it more than in years past. #brewsky
