El-Sayed on Vance: Is that Peter Thiel's boy with that Ohio charisma? The last thing that he said that made any sense was Hillbilly Elegy—after he said that Donald Trump had no business being president of anything. And then he decided to suck up to power.

I agree that ICE, CBP, and Dept of Homeland Security are all competely corrupt and danderous. All three deserve to be scrapped, 86'd, shelled out of existence. Particularly "Homeland Security," which is a total oxymoron. ICE aka Gestapo are all culpable and impeachable. Do it.

El-Sayed: "Once a government agency like ICE is told it has impunity to do the worst things and violate the highest law of the land, which is the Constitution itself, I don't think you can reform or retrain. I think we need to start from scratch ... I think we need to abolish it."

El-Sayed: I think that's clearly what's gone wrong with Fetterman. It's clear he probably doesn't spend much time in Pennsylvania. He was campaigning with Bernie Sanders and now wants to renounce him. I'm hoping to get to the U.S. Senate. Maybe we can hash that conversation out in person.

Exactly correct, Robert. I never care what the Times says and have not subscribed in years. They are notoriously against our "liberal" preference. Wonder why Bezos hasn't bought them? Doesn't need to. I love the Library system and all the rest of our city services & always vote for them.

The Seattle library levy is on track to pass with 80% voting yes. The Seattle Times came out against it and was resoundingly ignored. Seattle voters want nice things and are willing to pay for them.
