I'd rather be swallowed up by a demonic tornado than wait a week for the cliffhanger to be resolved. That said, I have enjoyed my time with Widow's Bay & am very much looking forward to next week and beyond.

Here's hoping "Shotgun Patricia" becomes the biggest cosplay for the Summer! Bonus points if they include a taser, or a sausage link in a styrofoam container. Widow's Bay is just consistently knocking it out of the park.

It's always a treat when a television series is consistently entertaining & sticks the finale. "Hacks" did so masterfully!

I don't remember slime being a part of "Battle of the Network Stars," but "Rivals" can be a little anachronistic at times. Regardless, it's still a fun romp with some good old fashioned skinamax sex appeal.

This week's double-shot of Widow's Bay has a lot to digest & I am here for every morsel! I'm more of a DVD commentary nerd rather than a podcast dork, but if Katie & Hiro (plus the cast & crew) are doing one - I'd be down to give it a listen to help tide me over until the next episode.

Widow's Bay certainly delivered an excellent mind fuck tonight, especially when I was expecting a touristy "trip." While I'm sad there's no more Toby Huss, I'm loving the surprise Hamish Linklater in the cold open!

The subtle unease when the cup of tea is placed on top of the book and is inexplicably moved to the side while off-camera is the perfect precursor! Plus, the comedic imagery is a brilliant misdirect. The bar is set pretty high for "What to Expect on Your Trip" & I'm hopeful it will blow my mind!

"Beach Reads" is a superb episode of television! If the remaining six keep this momentum, Widow's Bay will be my sleeper hit of the year.

I could've saved NASA some cash.

Hearing this always brings me back to the 40watt & all the happier memories from Techwood.

Last year's refund was a smooth & painless process. This year, not so much. I had to verify all this info in TurboTax when I submitted my tax return a month ago. Now IRS.gov wants me to verify my info again before they can process my return. Such bullshit.

@ticketmaster.com security is bullshit. For no reason, they wanted me to reset my password to join a pre-sale. In order to do that they need to authenticate me by sending a code to my phone. After I do that, they still need to send another code to my phone to join the pre-sale.

I'm no expert on history, but I'd say Andrew Jackson was our #1 racist president with Andrew Johnson a close second. DJT is creeping up that list awfully fast.
