Yay!! Today, we celebrated the first original paper from our Smart Photonics Group @leibnizipht.bsky.social. What a great success! Special guests: Bruno Pessoa Chaves, Manal Arbati from XLIM Limoges, and Andrei Ermolaev from Femto-ST Besançon, France. It was a very exciting exchange.

Our lab has received a significant equipment boost by the ERDF and the federal state of Thuringia. The new infrastructure is driving our research in three areas: 🎯 Neuromorphic computing for energy-efficient information processing 🎯 Optical AI for smart imaging 🎯 Integrated photonics
