Congratulations to @smeinert.bsky.social, honoured with the #EKFS Publication prize for her great Lancet Psychiatry publication „Associations between white matter microstructure and cognitive decline in MDD versus controls in Germany: a prospective case-control cohort study“! © Vero Bielinski

I’m deeply honoured (and still a bit stunned) to receive the #ECNP2025 Rising Star Award. This recognition means a lot - but it also reflects the incredible people I’ve been lucky to work with. @uni-muenster.de @dgps.bsky.social @biodgps-dgpa.bsky.social @trr393.bsky.social @traplabms.bsky.social

Beyond proud to see this published in The Lancet Psychiatry authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S22…. Together with my brilliant colleague & joint 1st author Kira Flinkenflügel we explored the prospective associations between cognitive performance, white matter integrity, and depressive disease course.

Anyone who would like to hear the results of our study with joint first author Kira Flinkenflügel recently published in The Lancet Psychiatry now has the chance to do so at the #DGPPN. Come to my talk in New York 2 at 12:00!

In a project funded by the "Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung", I will investigate the effects of parental depression on the mental health of offspring. If you are interested in transgenerational neuroimaging, think about joining our team 🥳
