Dan Hannan literally embodies why Britain is such a mess. Championed a Brexit he plainly didn’t understand, got ennobled for it, is routinely and noisily wrong and lacks any self-awareness. I’d sit this one out if I was him but he won’t.
Every day these truly horrible people show us a little more of who they are, and a little bit more of “this isn’t the country we are” dies.

I would just like to say that I lay primary responsibility for the collapse on the previous administrations, which comprised some of the most phenomenally stupid unsuitable and ill-equipped people ever to enter public life, but I expected so much better from Labour.
