Had this statement thrown at me so many times throughout my life, as I’ve struggled with depression, anxiety, etc. Even with my recent diagnosis of AuDHD, someone will quip: “someone has it always has it worse…”. You end up not bothering to tell anyone the psychological battles you are fighting.
