Going into status epilepticus one time is traumatizing but having it happen TWICE and coming out of the ICU with a big knot on my head and numbness from…something? We still don’t know what - is extra traumatizing. I woke up in the ICU with a breathing tube still in my throat.
I’m home now and I’m pretty scraped up. I don’t have my balance yet and I fell coming up the stairs to my house and hit my head so that was fun.
I have swelling on my head and I have no idea where it came from. My best guess is that the ambulance workers knocked it when they tried to intubate me (they said my airway was really small)

Just found out my uncle had a bad fall last night while he was drunk and had to be life flighted to the nearest trauma center, I don’t know anything else atp But I’m worried because he is elderly and the person who saw him fall said he just went limp. So he could’ve had a stroke or something idk
