New #OA paper in Landscape Ecology led by SMRU researchers @mattidcarter.bsky.social and @djfrussell.bsky.social reveals scale-dependent foraging behaviour and habitat associations of grey and harbour seals across the North Sea 🦭🧭 link.springer.com/article/10.1...

Great to see SMRU Instrumentation tags being used as CTDs for teaching @uniofstandrews.bsky.social with @oceanlars.bsky.social 🌊📡

First trip out with students of @uniofstandrews.bsky.social as part of their #marine #ecology training this semester. Dry but windy. We might even have collected some useful data 😊 Thanks to @seamammalresearch.bsky.social for letting us use their boat. @smruinstrument.bsky.social tags as CTDs 😳

Brilliant to hear @oceanlars.bsky.social speak at Discovery Point in Dundee this weekend on 'Marine Animals as Ocean Scientists’. He shared how SMRU Instrumentation tags are helping turn seals into ocean data collectors. 🦭📡 #RRSDiscovery #DiscoveryPointDundee #SMRUInstrumentation #MarineScience
