i've been into idle & incremental games since cookie clicker, so naturally i'm biased towards thinking so, but i do really think of them as a godsend when you're chronically ill, even if it's not me/cfs. any amount of time you spend is valued and always leads to something greater over time.

Tonight I had a volunteer shift. I chopped red peppers and cabbage for two hours. Someone else was on watermelon, somebody on apples, tomatoes, carrots. All produce that would've been tossed out. It'll feed hundreds of people fresh meals. That is community. Good people are still doing good work.
