Candidate for U.S. Congress, AL District 5 Small business owner • Father • Advocate for our communities • HEAR EVERY VOICE

Spending the afternoon at Brookdale Jones Farm yesterday reminded me why I got into this race in the first place. Residents gathered, asked hard questions, and didn't hold back. I ran for this seat because I got tired of watching Washington ignore people like the ones I met today.

"Hear Every Voice" isn't a slogan, it's the job description of a US Representative. We'll be doing four town halls across North Alabama over the next few months. I'll be there to listen as much as I'm there to talk, because you can't represent folks if you don't listen to them.

Busy weekends are the best weekends! From the Delta Sigma Theta Social Action Luncheon, to canvassing on Saturday, and a quick pop-up meet and greet on Sunday - I always appreciate the opportunity to talk to folks about what should be done in this community.

Want to help elect a plumber, not a politician? Join us Monday through Friday, 2–5 PM for phonebank office hours at campaign HQ and help spread the word about this campaign's mission to bring common sense representation back to AL-05. We can't do it without you, and every call helps.

Tonight, the room was full and the energy was palpable! Volunteers from across the district turned out and are ready to knock doors, make calls, and get their neighbors fired up for this campaign. It's about all of us. This is how we win: one conversation at a time. Ready to join them?

The firing of the officials from the Election Assistance Commission undermines our democracy. Congressman Strong, if you can't speak out on something as important as the safety of our elections, how can we trust you with our vote? This November, it's time for change. Let's fix the House, together.

President Trump’s recent decision to fire, without cause, members of the US Election Assistance Commission (EAC) literally destroys the only federal agency devoted solely to election administration months before the US midterm elections. The strength of our government relies on checks and balances

The dismissals hamstring a key bipartisan agency just months before the midterms.

This district has 99 problems, but the pledge sure isn't one. While Dale continues to vote against our interests in DC and avoid town halls or events that aren't carefully screened, he has sure found time to moralize about what it means to be an American. www.alreporter.com/2026/07/10/o...

Opinion | 99 problems, but the pledge ain’t one

The people in CD5 are facing numerous problems thanks to Representative Dale Strong's support of Trump policies, but a lack of patriotism isn't one.

Happy Fourth of July, everyone! 250 years ago, people who disagreed about almost everything came together and agreed on one thing: this country could be better than what came before it. The Constitution doesn't promise a perfect union, it promises the pursuit of one.

I’ll admit it - this weekend is always one of my favorite of the year. I’m not a big one for celebrating my birthday, but I have the distinct pleasure of sharing that day with Juneteenth! And THAT’s cause for celebration. Add Father’s Day to the mix - pretty awesome!

It was a privilege and honor to celebrate Juneteenth and the promise of freedom for all Americans at the Scottsboro Boys Museum today. I met Mary Sanford Abernathy, one of the first teachers in Jackson County to integrate local schools, the daughter of –

Your vote is your voice! Make sure to get to the polls between 7am and 7pm if you haven't already voted absentee. Now's not the time to stay silent - it's time to show up, speak out, and show Alabama - and the country - what the Fifth Congressional District can do. I'll see y'all at the polls!

Y'all, I want to brag on our volunteers for a second. They are so passionate that they're out knocking doors in feels like 100 degree weather - and also mowing lawns to help our friends and neighbors get their yard work done between rain storms! This is what community truly looks like.
