#NOLATwitter. “Snickyfritz” is a family nickname – a loose translation of “little chatterbox" in German. I'm also descended from one of the Brides of la Baleine, which is like the Mayflower but filled with mostly French sex workers.

This review is spot on. Raygun and Sammy have an odd blend of myopia and naiveté. I'm not sure if it's me being a gym rat, but she was not even remotely training hard enough for any sport. Her defense that women are quick to criticize women is wrong. This is about palpable talent and athleticism.

Someone let me write about Raygun two years after the Olympics. www.theguardian.com/sport/2026/s...

I'm barely on LinkedIn, so I'm shown suggestions and ads more than follows. Today I noticed a total 180 on AI -- posts like, "I've been hired as a writer because they don't want their content to sound like AI." Well well well. So many layoffs, for no good reason at all.

Mugshots make you look terrible because of the lighting. People who aren't meth addicts take mugshots where they look like meth addicts because EVERYONE looks like a meth addict in that lighting. St. Tammany Parish's mugshots make you look like you have no eyebrows.

The bros were bedazzled by their fantasy assumptions about an unproven technology. After they all crash and their assets are sold for pennies on the dollar, someone is going to make a killing, much like the fiber optics story following the dot-com crash.

I'm anti-AI, so in Nov 2025 I bought a copy of Microsoft Office 2019, which I need to edit. It's the only document software that allows edits with track changes hidden. Then, because I'm not a PC girl, I deleted my Microsoft account. On Thursday, the Office 2019 quit allowing edits or saves. 1/

After having the World Cup on every day but listening more than watching, I just learned that who I thought was Mary Carillo is actually Stu Holden. Their voices are identical to me. I'd wondered how she had such in-depth soccer knowledge but figured she was just a pro and picked it over Wimbledon.

The plan: forever warp the job market through taxpayer-funded subsidies of unsustainable AI businesses just long enough for all other companies to lay off millions of workers and reorient their work processes around proprietary technology and then once this is accomplished, raise inference prices.

JUST IN: Anthropic CEO says Al companies need hundreds of billions in revenue, or they'll go bankrupt.

I know this is just the least of things (looks around) but boy, I sure would like it if we could ban the phrase "at scale" from business writing. Who has ever been persuaded -- or dare I say inspired -- by the possibility of "innovating at scale"? What a waste of characters.
