Joey's DnD campaign wrapped up today, where we fought Vecna, who had built a giant animated statue of himself, which we built out of cardboard in a rush last night. (This thing has a bunch of ledges built into it so you can shadow of the colossus around on it.)

Here in the UK, some people put political signs up along the street to show support for whichever candidate they've voting for. I've been on the lookout regarding the Clacton by-election. It seems that for about one day a week, Count Binface has near 100% support. Never seen so much support before.

I’m at a wedding this weekend, and a cute little thing they had was a box full of little squares of art paper, with pens, and a request for guests to “draw a self portrait” so they could compile them later into a collage. Cute, and obviously I took part.

Travelling by train today from Cambridge, and there is “severe disruption” (the line is broken and there are no trains.) Left: Network Rail information. Right, Google AI summary of that info that Google hijacked my web search with and gave me instead.

Official Network Rail info: it says “Do not travel” and explains that there are no trains out of Cambridge in any direction today.Google AI summary that says the situation is resolved and the delay is 6 minutes. All of this information is false, and does not exist on the site they claim to be summarising.
