I know y'all have seen this reposted a lot today, but an additional note for fellow streamers: Make sure you disable this on your bot accounts. I have a second twitch account just for streamerbot messages, and had to opt out on that on that, too.

as soon as i am able, i will add a panel making it clear that my stream is not opted in to the AI training. please feel safe to chat with me!

i didn't catch a clip of it but during the Twitch staff stream someone asked "why didn't you send an email about this" & their answer was that not everyone looks at their email and "social media is more reliable" 💀

They don't really know for sure what happens when one creator thats opt-in and one thats opt-out are collabing using the Stream Together feature. It "should" respect the opt-out creator. Why bother doing this stream if you can't clearly address our questions?

Twitch staff can't answer if our VODs have already been used for training. The silence says EVERYTHING. They're getting cooked and they know it

Twitch isn't sure whether Amazon has used Twitch creator VODs prior to today to train its AI models. The opt-out will apply to your previous and future content, so it will not be used to train future models.
