man I'm feeling sentimental and this year was so hard for the artists so I say fuck new year's resolutions and I'll just wish for all of us to fall in love with drawing all over again.

This is why warmups help so much and are so important!! Is that one drawing in your mind too daunting to start or you don’t know what to draw? Just do little mindless doodles, or helps you get going!

Unpopular motivation hack for drawing: Start drawing immediately, even if it feels impossible. After 15 minutes, your brain will recognize the difficult task and create dopamine to help you keep going. Agonizing endlessly before the drawing doesn't help your creative process.
