Kid has been enjoying new Animaniacs, so I decided to pop on the original. It holds up, no surprise. But also? I’d forgotten what they didn’t bring to the new version, besides tons of secondary characters. Lots of kissing. They kiss everyone. Kid was confused lol
It was the sound of my AirPods. They were basically dead at this point anyways and didn’t really work anymore, but I do not have new AirPods money currently. Anyone have earbuds they like that I might be able to afford?

Explain this to me. There’s a few retro arcades near us. One has a wall of flat screens and some modern-ish systems hooked up - Switch, PS4, etc. Kiddo (7 years old) will come here and play switch… which he has at home. Playing the games that he also has at home.
I know I talk (probably too much) about my mental health struggles on here, but I’m about to do it again. Would love to be able to tidy up my apartment while my kid is around without my brain screaming “ITS ALL TRASH YOU FUCKED IT UP YOURE WORTHLESS YOULL NEVER FIX ANYTHING” all the time.

A double birthday party today with a sleepover chaser for kiddo today.
I’m sitting here worrying about whether I have all the right documents for my license renewal, while a dude just slid down into a chair and said to the clerk “whew, so what do I need for this Real ID thing.” I want to live that relaxed.
I really do think other men are just better at shaving their faces than I am, and the reason I hate the process is a skill issue.
I just need to renew my license in Texas tomorrow, but there are like 5 different lists of documents that I “will” or “might” need. Just tell me what I need. I will need my license or a passport, “might” need my social security card, “might” need two bills with my address on it.

Anyone have a particular kind of sheets/pillowcases or duvet covers that they like? King size, don’t care about the color. A friend pointed out the reason that I insist on sleeping on the couch and not the bed might be because those are sheets from my past life. So time to restart.
I’m out of Louisiana, so no more stadiums today. I’m really glad I did that. Broke up the day nicely, and I’m by myself, which rarely happens on car trips. Plus, no hard deadline. Maybe I’m weird, but seeing a stadium in its place with its surroundings in real life makes it so much more vivid.
