We are on the verge of a climatic upheaval greater than any of us can imagine. Global leaders and media aren't paying attention. They are focused on a series of self-inflicted crises that have left us dangerously vulnerable and totally unprepared. My latest. charlieangus.substack.com/p/what-keeps...

Democrats: You pay taxes. We spend the money on you Republicans: You pay taxes, we spend the money on tax cuts for the wealthy and corporate subsidies This is how wealth is transferred from us to them. The same is true for tariffs. We pay the higher prices, but the corporations get the refunds.

I'm not sure it's accurate to say I've "claimed it" as much as it's a scientific reality. The climate crisis is killing people and on track to get much worse. Seems big & worth having a plan to tackle. I'm calling on the Government to have an emergency meeting and create a plan - and carry it out.

Is climate change the biggest threat to the country since world war 2?

That's what Zack Polanski has claimed. He accused Andy Burnham of not acting urgently enough amid this summer's heatwaves. Are you just as worried?

NEW: Todd Blanche blew the deadline to respond to my lawsuit. Now, he wants the court to forgive his "excusable neglect." Stay tuned for the latest episode on my YouTube channel breaking down the latest filings, including my own motion to compel Blanche to answer my complaint.

Today, I'm introducing the first-ever Data Center Bill of Rights. Communities deserve the right to reject data centers, protect their water, keep electricity bills down, and prevent states from shoving data centers down their throats.

This is an extraordinary story, centred on a group of remarkable women, but it just makes me mourn for the millions of women and girls trapped in Afghanistan, denied not only the freedom to play sports, but to speak, learn and live as they choose. We must not forget them.

Banned from football at home, Afghan women's team reunite 8,000 miles away

Women in the team, which is recognised by Fifa, say football has given them freedom and independence.
