Hey BlueSky people, I’ve just read that Trump has hiked tariffs on us (Australia) over “concerns” about “forced labour”, which we don’t do. Remind me, does the US still utilise labour from prison inmates at super cheap? Also, does the US still have thousands of full time workers on SNAP?

Going home from hearing the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, they played Ives’s The Unanswered Question, Westlake’s Percussion Concerto with solist Rebecca Lagos and Holst’s The Planets (with an accompanying film titled Loss, starring Emma Thompson. Yes, the Emma Thompson!). Fabulous all round!
