Woke up to the smell of soldering in the air (long Covid busted sense of smell and taste since 2022). This is due to fires 500 km away in Gironde, but also a local fire 5 km away. I closed everything and currently using my air filters.

Playlist on the way back from Dole, it's currently 28°C, sleeping is still going to be difficult tonight. We were expecting rain, there wasn't any.
Did I mention the 10 or so local fires we've had? 😱 3 of which were started by 3 teenage oiks in Dole, the police caught one of them. 😡 One field fire was my side of the village, just 1 mile away.
Watering the plants at 5 am or 9 pm is a drag. Lucky I have a well, so that it doesn't impact drinking water.
