It is now the 8th anniversary of Mania so time to dig up some Sonic trivia... This year, it's Kanga Clanga! (aka the Kangus). This lovable robo-roo originally lived in the outback but now entertains us all in Pinball Carnival Zone!

I've been doing more #SXSG shader reverse engineering, reached the shaders that blend texture sets now. One of them, DirectionBlend_dpnndpn (used in kingdom valley), has a bug that incorrectly applies the third normal map. I checked out how it looks when fixed, and it does make a difference!

Been a while since I posted a progress update on Marathon Recompiled, so here's where we're at! We have working builds for Linux and macOS, and I'm working on sorting out the remaining blockers for Windows. Bugs in game, and singleplayer 3D not rendering properly yet but stay tuned...

Yeah the scam seems to be that like one of your followers suddenly messages you about how your account tried to fraud them and that they sent a report. This leads down this chain of getting in touch with some asshole on discord who acts like bluesky support but is just there to steal info

Still think about this sometimes--a prototype design for NiGHTS' JoD appearance. Seems NiGHTS was going to have a feather motif similar to Reala's, and a bunch of other little design elements as well! A bit cluttered, but still fun to look back on :D
