It's 3AM, and I'm having trouble sleeping cuz of depression and insecurities again I am actively trying to heal from my broken nature at this point, but I still dont really know how to actually do it without finding 5 more reasons to hate that I was born
I'm so glad I read Summer Pockets during summer, highkey I felt like it made the already amazing atmosphere that much more immersive
As someone that's gotten into Metroid recently, it's been interesting seeing the first two games frequently skimmed over when recommending the series, and I'm not entirely sure how to feel about it as someone that kinda likes Metroid 1

I'd play another Metroid game cuz Ravenous looks so sick, but I've already played 5 Metroid games in the summer, so... I'll have to wait a bit still
So a little history I never talk about Zelda much, but I actually played Ocarina of Time back in the day on the Gamecube. I actually liked it, but eventually didn't find Zelda was for me. But I beat that game multiple times as a kid, and it stuck with me, so hmmmm
Didn't think it'd happen, but I'll have to kick off Zero 3 from the top 3 Mega Man games spot now. Kinda crazy how much I came to adore ZX1 and Legends 1 that much... But yeah, this game rules so hard. Highly recommend it

Quite possibly still one of the greatest fighting game franchise debuts ever. Even today, compared to other first fighting game attempts in a established franchise, this one shockingly holds up insanely well
There is no better encapsulation of FFVII simultaneously being a very serious and very silly game than Square looking at one of the most emotionally harrowing and upsetting segments of the game and being like "lmao, let's have Cloud tease the release of Xenogears right here lads".
Been playing Mega Man Legends recently, and besides the controls (which I got used to anyway), this game is hitting many boxes for me. Exploration is a ton of fun, Kattlelox Island is full of charm, the aesthetics are amazing, exploration is super rewarding, and atmosphere is 🤌
Idk what VN I'd want to read next. Not gonna read any for a month, though. Since I spent near 100 hours on Summer Pockets Curse those minigames for being so fun...

I would rather play X6, tbh. I will never say X6 is a better game than this. But that game doesn't waste my time like this one does so many times and isn't esoteric as fuck. This game burnt me out by the time I was done, and that sucks. But it is what it is, I guess
