I thought yesterday was special because my kitten allowed me to pet him for quite awhile, I saw the first robin of the year, and it was nice enough to spend hours outside. Then last night I never fell asleep. Never. Now this day is a stupid waste.
It got up to 50F today so I spent hours outside in shirtsleeves doing spring cleanup. It felt so rejuvenating! I needed that. It’s only fake-you-out spring here, but it gives us the gift of hope. Now I have to stop myself from all the other spring chores. 🍃🧹🌿
Just watched the incredibly exciting Women’s Gold Medal Hockey game, which aired in full, live, on Canadian TV. US TV doesn’t consider it worthy to air live or on repeat for the evening coverage. Shameful.

Someone has to say this. In the long press conference with the Pima County sheriff, they didn’t say one thing we didn’t already know. “We believe Nancy is still out there.” Well, if you haven’t found her, then of course she still out there. 🤷♀️ There was no point in this.
I did not feel pain today. For 36 days in a row, I had excruciating pinched nerve pain as soon as I woke up, lasting until mid-afternoon. I missed the holidays with my children and grandies. This is a day to be thankful.
OH MY GOD. I have been calling to get an appointment with my doctor for weeks. Today I finally was thrilled to get a message that I was “in the queue.” Waited for 28 minutes to get a person. Only to be told that the first appointment they can give me for excruciating back pain is MARCH 10th.
Rewatching The Pitt so I’m ready for season 2. Feels like seeing old friends. 😊
Today’s pain level is 9, both cats are wrestling in the Xmas tree, making it wobble across the floor dropping ornaments, I have a meeting at 1, and drump dropped bombs. Happy 1st Saturday.

Yesterday it rained and washed away all the old snow and ice. Saw grass for the first time in a month. Today it’s snowing. 😊
Tried to wash away some weird drips on the outside of my sliding door and the spray froze in the circular wiping pattern. So there’s that today.
