wanted to try my hand at something very inspired by orthodox iconography and ended up with leyendecker wannabe. still, happy with how this turned out, i've been meaning to give them something more of an illustrative piece. her heart, weighted and measured inside #wh40k

ivanna (cardinal) and atilla, intertwined with each other icon style. golden frame around them is decorated with engraved leaves and classic imperium skull imagery, with purity seals everywhere. on the left side servo-scribe is holding a parchment, solidifying the silhouette. around both women is looping a red snake - named Vonzh - symbol of atilla's death cult, their imagery of the god entity referred to as Golden Host. golden halo around the heart symbolizes something like holiness, love, sacrifice, etc. i dont know. Lelith wondered if they should invite Yvraine, but she and Jain-Zar aren't on speaking terms anymore. Lhykis didn't give a fuck and meshed down more snacks.

Art Fight looks so fun but I have never joind it. What a great excuse to just throw bunch of shit at ur pals. But I got too depressed and busy this year lmao. Next year I tell myself and weep.

Next edition is just around the corner but it feels like people just stopped talking about wraithbone and ynnari in the time out zone 5 minutes ago. I hope next edition just burns the whole setting down. Now that would give us shit to yap about.

If I were drafted into the imperial guard and THEY put me in one of the boring green fatigue basic bitch units and not one of the themed and dripped out Militarum Regimentums , I would turn to chaos before first smoko break I can tell you that much

We really lost something irreplaceable with John Blanche. Warhammer and dystopian sci-fi overall wouldn't be the same without him. I owe a lot to him and his art. Here is to one of the greats.
