this is my first time being in the bbc merlin fandom during december, should I be scared yes or no
we brush over the poisoned chalice too much as a fandom. episode 4 and arthur disobeyed his father for merlin. episode 4 and merlin drank poison willingly. episode 4 and arthur was riding to his death for merlin. that amount of devotion while they were somewhat strangers is crazy
I feel like we don't really appreciate enough the fact that merlin is literally arwen's #1 shipper and supporter

help i started paying more attention to the horses in merlin and now i’ve noticed a break in continuity where the horse they ride from the castle with is different from the horse they’re riding in the forest and i can’t unsee it LOL
