we've already had to pay several thousand to repair a couple of appliances (fridge, water heater) in the span of two weeks, and now I need another 3k to keep my bearded dragon alive I am increasingly physically disabled due to chronic pain, so picking up work shifts is difficult tired.

If you’ve ever complained about shipping prices, please take that energy and direct it to your elected representatives. Tell them to fight for more funding of the postal service! If we lose the USPS it’s absolutely inevitable that shipping rates will increase with all carriers. 😤
