Fun fact, in case I haven't mentioned it before: I usually paint on only 1 to 3 layers. I start with the lines and base colors each on a layer, but typically merge to one when the painting gets more refined. If there's a background, that is also on its own layer. Anyway, here's a WIP! #furryart

I still waffle a little bit on whether to put suggestive/NSFW art on this account or my actual NSFW account. I don't think one or the other is the "right" way to do it, but I have a lot of shame to unlearn surrounding drawing NSFW art. 😖

Learning how to use the tablet we bought ourselves. A sketch that traditionally would have taken us probably 1 hour at most took us 3 times as long, but in our defense, we were learning an entirely new drawing program!

Cameron, another character from our novel! He's a midpoint between Julia and Cassie, the aforementioned character who grows to love being a dragon. Cameron's always been very unsure of himself and his place in the world, and his character arc is mainly about that. Art by @sorensystem.bsky.social

The "don't give up, small artists; you'll get there eventually!" post is so interesting to me. I've been posting my art online for 15 years and the most followers I've ever had on anything is around 1,000 🙃 (I've followed every advice possible already. Not looking for more.)
