I'm not sure that adding chili peppers to the butter chicken was a good idea, but at least I now know that all of my sweat glands work.
There's nothing quite like snowshoeing through a forest after a major snowfall and laying down the first tracks through virgin snow.
50cm of snow in less than 18 hours, and it's still falling. The snow piles beside my driveway are more than 2m tall and I'm just about out of space to put any more.
I was at my elderly parents' house today to fix a few things for them. It was such a weird feeling to have my father, who is no longer physically able to fix many things himself, watching over my shoulder asking questions just as I did with him when I was little.
