The whistle mercifully blows. Sounders lose their seventh straight, this one 3-0. They were really never in the game. Stefan Frei likely sets a club record with 16 saves. Sounders allow 40!!!! shots. Totally overmatched.
Goal, Toluca. Another one off a rebound. 3-0. Honestly, a deserved scoreline.

The degree to which the Sounders feel overmatched tonight is hard to overstate.
Goal, Toluca. they score off a rebound that looked like a took a nasty bounce.
Musovski and Alex Roldan enter for De Rosario and Brunell.
Miracle of miracles, Sounders get into halftime trailing only 1-0. They are getting out shot 19-1, out-possessed 70-30 and Toluca has a 33-2 touch-in-the-box advantage.
Two more big saves by Frei. He’s leading the Sounders in touches…

Not sure how that wasn’t a goal! But Frei makes a huge save after the Sounders’ defense is an absolute mess.
