take Jack Antonoff’s advice and GO TO CONCERTS ALONE! i met a really rad queer friend that i hung out with all night who was there with her sweet 70 year old work pal (both are architects.) didn’t take a bunch of pics/video, but did get footage of Bridget + James shredding to the new LSD song! 🎸

i saw the Hadestown proshot today after i got back into town, and i have so many thoughts! the biggest ones: - Hades’ black and silver pinstriped suit looks like The Man Eras Tour jacket. - “Flowers” which is a song Eurydice sings after making her deal with Hades was on Spiral Alice for awhile.

saw a director’s screening of Maddie’s Secret tonight (and at one point John Early stood less than 12 inches from me when he stopped next to my aisle seat.) it was SOOO funny and full of heart… i loved it and cannot wait to see it again! GO SEE THIS BRILLIANT COMEDY AND SUPPORT QUEER ART!

did we ever determine when IKIIKY was recorded? could 3/27 have been feasible? i know they announced his retirement on 3/18, but he is contracted until the end of the year as an advisor for the new CEO… maybe he was wrapping up having an office by the end of Q1? asking bc i am cooking w/ something

of course Chad (aka John Early) is going to be here (Baltimore) on 7/17 (aka a date many have eyes are on) and is doing a movie screening + Q&A… it is one of only 10 tour dates, and is kind of an odd choice other than the Jon Waters camp of it all.
