Social Prescribing to promote and improve access to health and care services for people in vulnerable situations in Europe

We were shocked and saddened by the attacks at Berlin's Pride Festival on Saturday, and send our love and support to everyone who has been affected, including our colleagues at Charité. Everyone involved in SP-EU stands with LGBTIQ+ communities during this difficult time.

This week SP-EU partners took part in a colloquium on vulnerability in primary care in Ghent, Belgium. It brought together 65 researchers, policymakers, and primary care professionals to discuss how health systems can better respond to poverty and social inequality.

It was fantastic to connect with colleagues from across the Baltic Sea region at the Arts on Prescription conference in Vilnius last week, hosted by Northern Dimension Partnership in Public Health and Social Well-being (NDPHS).

Good to see a feature on German TV last week about social prescribing, focusing in particular on museums and arts on prescription. This includes interviews with Wolfram from Charité and Nick from the National Academy for Social Prescribing, who are both part of SP-EU. www.3sat.de/kultur/kultu...

Museum auf Rezept

Ein Museumsbesuch auf Rezept? Das könnte bald auch in Deutschland möglich sein. Denn Kunst und Kultur können heilende Wirkung auf Menschen haben.
