I've written a lot of dialogue for Island Adventure with the goal of having silly adventures on each island as each is discovered. I recentlyreplayed Link to the Past and Link's awakening and realizing how inspired I have been by those titles. Maybe there is room to be sillier still!

Turns out Earthion is fully verified for Steam Machine (store.steampowered.com/app/3597580/..., click on steam deck and click the second tab). Not that I expected anything else given the Steam Deck verification but still cool that the port I worked on is verified on Steam Machine :)

I've had a bit of a struggle making progress on one of my commodore 64 games. When I took a step back and looked at the design, I realized I was trying to make a character give a clue about how to locate the character itself... Fixing that design should unblock me :)

Got the latest Retro Gamer Magazine, containing a God of War special, an uncharted mention AND an article about Rocket on Wheels by Sucker Punch that later created Sly Cooper. This must be building up to a big Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale celebration ;)

Super 8. i walked out within the first fifteen minutes, but because it was a work event at Superbot I sat off the time in the lobby feeling lucky I at least didn't have to suffer the remainder of that movie.

fun question: what’s the maddest you’ve ever been leaving a movie theater? not necessarily worst movie you’ve seen, but the one that just pissed you off the most. mine is Batman v Superman

I just integrated the 100th puzzle into the Island Adventure story! Island Adventure is a puzzle+adventure game for the #Commodore64 that I'm working on. I'm taking a little break from making more art and code to get all the design in place. I still have more than half the puzzles left to hook up.

Still working on Island Adventure for the Commodore 64. At this point I am not programming anything new, just hooking up puzzles to the gameplay in script. Making a little progress each day before I can start on bug fixing and polish :)

I just spent way too much time trying to get MAME to accept my Mega Drive ROM I'm working on and fiddling with bytes in the header to get it to work. Turns out -genesis will not run a ROM with SEGA MEGA DRIVE in the header, you must use -megadriv. (no error message either...) But now I can debug!
