Just renewed my 4 tickets for the 2027 Canadian Grand Prix. Third row above the exit of T2. View of start/finish, T1/T2/pit exit. Had these seats for ~20 years. They are now $1025/seat CAD. Wow. #F1

I’ve seen several stories/posts about the current power unit regs being a bandage in a bandage etc. It was nice to hear louder engines in Montreal. I hope they will bring back more ICE centric v8 (dare I dream of v10) engines with high revs.

I learned recently that #F1 journo and elder statesman/stalwart @joesaward.bsky.social had his permanent FIA press pass pulled. He’s been critical of the current president. Now he’s out. Radio silence from the rest of the #FIA accredited media. Nothing. Access journalism. We deserve better

It’s near impossible for a new candidate to qualify to run against, much less win (with the incumbent having the ability allocate FIA funds across the key voting base), so sure, change the rules so we can have an Emperor. Let’s allow him to pass it on to his first born son as well. Come on.
