Ilkley Moor dog walk this morning. Forecast was showers with 3mm of rain. Met an elderly local lady who told me that I was likely to get wet. I said it would be fine, as I had a waterproof jacket in my pack. 3 hours of sideways rain later, I was soaked through to my undercrackers.

Just watched Captain Marvel, my first Marvel movie since Iron Man 2. I never thought I'd say this, but I had a thoroughly good time.
Is it just Leeds' pavements, or does every UK city turn into a hydrological minefield the moment it rains?
Spitfire over Ilkley Moor (apologies for the atrocious camera work)
I'm off up to Ilkley Moor before the coffee-carrying sipsters arrive.
I guess this is why my dog no longer chooses to sleep on the bed with me.
I'd almost forgotten how amazing The Graduate is. The acting, direction and soundtrack is off the scale. It still puts me in stitches each time Hoffman emits one of Ben's tiny little whimpers.
Ilkley Moor dog walk today. I do a lot of walking up here and it's not uncommon to see people wander around the first few hundred metres in the wrong footwear. But today I saw a chap running in flip-flops, miles from the nearest road. Is this some kind of niche sport, or just masochism?
Been out on the bike all afternoon and came home to find that William Orbit had died. 'Fascinating Rhythm' had a profound effect on me in 1990 and it remains one of my favourite dance tracks. Everything he produced was an experience. I haven't haven't felt like this since John Peel passed.
Just sat down to have a dump and my watch buzzed to inform me that all my daily goals have been achieved.
New whip arrived... with a power meter that I wasn't expecting! 3 apps later and an afternoon of tweaking and Blue should be ready to smash some gravel this weekend.
40+ miles to (almost) Skipton and back from Leeds today. I can't imagine how lame my bike rides would be without the Canals and Rivers Trust. The higher points of the Leeds-Liverpool canal are really something to behold.
Slowly digging my way through all my forgotten vinyl and found this little gem from '89, often played by Parky at The Hacienda.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FDH...

Drumpf's going to need a couple of Pro-Plus, washed down with RedBull, if he's going to have any chance of presenting this trophy.
If you think the players are flagging during extra time, spare a thought for Drumpf... it could still happen.
If it weren't for the posts on here, this match would be unwatchable.
Unless he dies before the final whistle, this will go down as the worst world cup final ever.
I'd rather be cramping-up in a sweaty changing room than watching this shit-show.
Wondered why I kept getting occasional, random, tubeless punctures (all which sealed themselves), but couldn't locate anything causing them. Finally removed the tyre and found this nail rattling around inside it!
I could've beaten my 30km gravel personal best by 4 minutes today. Instead, I chose to stop and play with 2 golden retrievers named Archer & Oakley. This is the way.
