Hopefully a final update for this summer. All nearby fires have either been controlled or they’ve moved on. No threats to me currently. Neighbouring towns have lost homes though, absolutely devastated for the small communities.

A new fire has started much closer to my town, about 40km’s west. Winds pushing it south east though but will be one to watch. Wind is absolutely punishing us today. Multiple fires have started across the state. The cold change on the weekend cannot come quick enough 🤞 Stay safe Aussies ❤️
